Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Charles Walker |
Date | 5 March 1907 |
Description | Geikie is glad for Walker's letter of 1 March, in which he disclaims any intention of implying any accusation of dishonesty against any member of the staff at the Royal Society, which seemed to be the meaning of a passage in his letter to Professor [John Bretland] Farmer on 23 April 1906. Geikie is willing to accept his disclaimer, and the incident is now at a close. His letter to Farmer has been shown to a wide number of persons, and so Geikie will take care to ensure that the explanatory letter shall also have a wide circulation. |
