DescriptionCopies have been received today from the Treasury, of correspondence between the Foreign Office and the French Ambassador, from which is appears that the British Government on 12 October 1906 last informed the German Ambassador that it had decided to join the International Seismological Association for a period of four years. The French Ambassador states that his Goverment will also join, and suggests Britain and France act together on the matter. Sir Edward Grey as replied favourably to this.
