Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], President, Royal Society |
Date | 27 March 1907 |
Description | Harrison forwards an enclosure concerning the 'International Auxiliary Language' addressed to the President, but informs him that it was shown to Professor Arthur Schuster, at the suggestion of Archibald Geikie, who advises that only a formal acknowledgement is required. The matter is being dealt with by the Vienna Academy, and Schuster believes this to be private canvass of the separate academies, and therefore, not to be encouraged. |
