Description | Harrison, in response to Gilchrist's enquiry, sends a printed copy of the certificates of candidates in 1905, and draws attention to Mr Strutt's claims to the Fellowship of the Royal Society on page 20. Sir William Huggins was President at the time of his election, and Mr Strutt is a son of Lord Rayleigh, the current President of the Society.
He has informed the President and other Officers of Gilchrist's wish to call attention, at meetings for the election of Fellows, to the list of candidates selected by the Council. |
