| Description | An oversight meant the cost of Miers' extra private copies of his paper was not added to the back of the circular sent out with his proofs, and Harrison explains that with a cost to authors of two pounds, 17 shillings and six pence per hundred, his 250 copies amount to a charge of seven pounds, three shillings and nine pence.
250 copies in addition to the 100 supplied at no cost are authorised by the Secretaries, but Harrison writes to allow Miers to confirm or change his original application before giving the order to their printers. |
