Description | Swan's letter of 27 May has been shown to the Treasurer, who has authorised Harrison to say that he will make Swan a payment for the Antarctic work, but they will have to wait until Sir Archibald Geikie returns and ask that he, as editor of the whole publication, certify for the work. If Swan will submit an account, it will be presented to Geikie to be certified and a cheque can then be drawn. |
