Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Sidney Martin, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 31 May 1907 |
Description | Harrison gives details of a letter read to Council from Professor Mosso asking the Royal Society to nominate two people for his new mountain laboratory on the Col d'Olen, and send a representative to its opening in August. It has been referred to the Physiology Committee in the hope they can report on it before the next Council meeting on 13 June, but failing that a report to the meeting on 4 July would suffice, although Mosso asks for a reply by the beginning of July. There is a sufficient volume of business accumulated to call an early meeting of the committee, and if Martin agrees, he suggests circulating a special notice to members to be prepared to suggest names for the laboratory places. |
