Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Wyndham Dunstan, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 17 June 1907 |
Description | Harrison apologises for not responding to Dunstan's letter on behalf of Mr Gordon sooner. He explains that he has obtained authority to send Gordon an invitation to the Soiree and he will submit Dunstan's more recent recommendation of Inigo Thomas, but that he strictly observes the rule of not sending out invitations on his own authority, excepting those with obvious claims.
They have a section for artists in the list of invitations, which makes it difficult to send invitations to those not on the list. |
