Description | Harrison has discovered, after investigation, that the payment of Mr Holland's contribution to the Royal Society was requested after it had been already been paid by Messrs King & Company, and so it has been paid twice. The error arose as they had not sent a formal receipt to King & Company, and he apologises for this clerical error. He is surprise that King & Company did not call attention to the omission. They will refund Holland or his agents, as directed, which would be preferable to carrying the amount over to the following year. |
