Description | In response to Watson's letter of 21 November, Harrison consulted the Chairman of the Sectional Committee to which his paper was referred, and he authorises Harrison to convey his opinion that important arguments should not be omitted, so perhaps Watson could state the arguments more concisely, with a note to say that the comparison of English and other Coal Seams on which his arguments are based will be covered elsewhere, if he intends to contribute a seaparate paper to a Geological periodical.
He returns the manuscript and plates separately for the purpose of revision. |
