Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Albert Charles Seward, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 9 December 1907 |
Description | Harrison has received William Cecil Dampier Wheatham's report on Professor Buller's paper, and notes that it upsets the balance of opinion by recommending it for publication, in full, in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, reflecting that the physical part of the paper is of great interest and appears sound. The two other referees reports were 'distinctly unfavourable' and 'doubtful' respectively, and he encloses a copy of the last one to refresh his memory.
Harrison asks what is to be done about the paper. It is yet to be read. |
