Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Burnside, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Mathematics Sectional Committee |
Date | 13 December 1907 |
Description | Professor Love, the first referee on the paper 'Further consideration of the pear-shaped figure of equilibrium of a liquid earth' by Sir George Howard Darwin, has reported in favour of publication in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. The nominated second referee, Professor William Mitchinson Hicks, cannot report on it due to work commitments, so Professor Larmor is prepared to report on it in favour of publication.
Harrison asks that Burnside, as Chairman, state whether he is prepared, in conjunction with Larmor, to authorise publication of the paper under Standing Order 43. |
