Description | The Report of the Indian Board of Scientific Advice for 1905-6 and the Programme of Work of that Board for 1907-8 were considered at a recent meeting of the Indian Government Advisory Committee. After full discussion, the observations made on the subjects referred to them were agreed for communication to the Secretary of State for India. [In the loose sheet version of this letter, the observations of the committee appear in printed form, cut out and paste onto the sheet, with topics covered including presentation of the programme, botany, agriculture, anthropology, forestry, animal diseases, geology, economic and industrial chemistry]
The Committee requested that the annexed memorandum be drawn up by Dr J A Voelcker who attended the meeting, and forwarded for the information of the Secretary of State as an appendix to the Committe's report. |
