TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to R [Richard] Threlfall, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date20 March 1908
Description'Dear Mr Threlfall,
I have your letter of the 18th . The suggestion you made that we should invite the Thermal Syndicate to exhibit at the Soiree was laid before the Committee on Wednesday, but they came to the conclusion that as the Syndicate had an exhibit last year it was not expedient to invite them a second time. Unless therefore you wish to press the suggestion I should not propose to proceed further in the matter. The Committee however, gladly accept your offer of an exhibit of your own, and a form will shortly be sent to you to fill up with reference to it.'
