Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor Albert Charles Seward, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 15 June 1908 |
Description | Seward may telephone Professor Pearson to send his paper. It is proposed for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', and there is no reason why proofs of text and illustration should not be ready before December. Asks Seward to communicate the paper himself, and see what needs to be done with regards to reductions. The long delayed paper by Professor Buller is to come before the Committee of Papers on Thursday. He has agreed to abbreviate it as the Botany Committee recommends, and offers £20 towards the scheme of modification, on condition, Geikie presumes, that no serious amount of shortening and omission of figures is carried out. |
