In answer to your letter of November 10th, the permission of the Society to the republication of papers from the Proceedings [of the Royal Society] in other Journals is usually granted subject to due acknowledgement being made of the source from which such papers are being reproduced; and I think that you may safely anticipate the consent of the Council to the re-printing of your paper in the 'Laryngoscope' provided this condition is satisfied.' |
