Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr F [Frederick] F [Frost] Blackman FRS |
Date | 21 June 1909 |
Description | 'Dear Dr Blackman, We have now received Prof Bower's report on Miss Stopes' paper. He recommends that the paper should be published with certain amendments, saying that the whole paper requires thorough revision of the text as regards details of composition and especially of spelling. He further says "It seems to me to be little short of an insult to the Society that a young aspirant should send in her first contribution in such a state as this paper is in". On hearing from you of the dates most suitable for a meeting early in July, I will make arrangements for a meeting of the Committee to consider this and the two other papers awaiting decision.' |
