| Description | 'Dear Sir,
A paper by Miss W Wheldale entitled "Note on the physiological interpretation of the mendelian factors for colour in plants" has recently been communicate to the Society by Professor Bateson; and, as Report V to the Evolution Committee, which contained another paper by Miss Whedale on a similar subject, is now going through the press, the Secretary (Professor Bradford) thinks that the present paper would most suitably appear in the Evolution Reports also. He has therefore authorised its printing in the Report V to the Evolution Committee which is now in proof, and I shall be glad if you, as Chairman of the Evolution Committee, will let me know whether you concur in this action.' |
