Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr Charles Chree FRS, Kew Observatory, Old Deer Park, Richmond, Surrey |
Date | 22 April 1910 |
Description | 'Dr Chree, Would you like me to come and talk it over with you? If so I think I could get away on Monday if you would send me a message by telephone whether it would be convenient for you to see me than at Kew. You shall find me ready to co-operate in every way to facilitate your part of the work. The abstract of your paper on MAgnetic Disturbances at Kew is being printed to appear in the next number of Proceedings [of the Royal Society], which will be out very shortly, but the statement you mention can be added to the full paper if you like. The request for a short summary for the meeting, as in MR Sangster's case, merely indicates that the paper is accepted for reading, which does not commit us in any way to publication. I will write to you separately about his paper.' |
