As you are aware, we have received from Prof Schuster, a paper by W G Duffield, on the Effect of Pressue upon Arc Spectra, Pat II, No 4 Gold, and I should be glad to know whether I may send it on to the referee, Prof H F Newall, who reported upon Part I, without waiting for Sir Joseph Larmor's official approval.
Sir Joseph is at Rome, attending the meetings of the International Association of Academies and will not be back probably until after the holidays.' |
