Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to William Ramsay, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 16 December 1910 |
Description | Larmor has read the paper on Niton, and he would like to add the words 'radium emanations'. As far as he is concerned it can go on for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', but the Physics Committee may hesitate on account of substantial prior publications, though that is hardly likely. Larmor regrets that Ramsay is inventing new words like 'millimilligram' and 'micromilligram', which are confusing. |
