On November 29 I wrote to His Highness telling him that the books were published by you and that copies were to be obtained through your agency; that the Charter Book was published at £3.3. and that orders should be addressed to you.
Now he writes to thank the Royal Society for the two volumes presented to him; but it was not the intention of the Society to present them, as he was not an official delegate.' |
