I am requested by the Treasurer to enclose a cheque for £58.2.9, being the half share of proceeds of sales of the Herschel Reprint, received from Messrs Dulau & Co, and due to the Royal Astronomical Society.
I send also the audited accounts of the Society, wherein (page 2) the sum payable in respect of the sales is shown.
Kindly send me a receipt for the cheque.' |
