| Description | Bose's paper on "An automatic method for the investigation of the velocity of the transmission of excitation in mimosa", communicated to the Royal Society by Professor Vines has received careful consideration to the Society. The Council has request that Bradford say that they do not find that paper suitable for publication by the Society as it stands. They would be prepared to consider a greatly abbreviated account of the mthod and apparatus, reducing the paper to not more than half its length.
