| Description | 'Adverting to my letter of the 25th instant, I have had an opportunity of consulting the President and the Treasurer with regard to your question as to the amount available for apparatus this year under the Sorby Trust. The President thinks that as the matter now stands it is not necessary to call the Committee together, but he authorises me to let you knwo that the Treasurer will be able to pay over to you this year for the purchase of apparatus and material the full amount of £37.12 sanctioned by the Committee to be paid for that purpose when the balance in hand admits of it.' |
