In the absence abroad of the Chairman, and the Physical Secretary of the Society, I have to report that receipt of a paper by Prof W H Young FRS on "Fourier series and functions of bounded variation" and to ask members of the MAthematics Committee to express their views, whether the paper accepted for reading and publication inthe Proceedings, or whether the report of a referee should be obtained.
The paper can be sent to any member of the Committee who will read and report upon it. It is estimated to print about six pages of the Proceedings.' |
