Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Archibald Geikie, President of the Royal Society |
Date | [May 1913] |
Description | Harrison has Geikie's notes. It is unfortunate that [?] has chosen 5 June as they date to give an address here, as that is the date chosen by Broom for his Croonian Lecture. A letter can be sent [?] to Broom to see if he can manage another date, but Harrison does not know where he is at the moment. Broom would like to do the lecture as earliest as possible so he can go abroad.
Sending a private letter, and a letter from the Chancellor of the Exechequer which although is addressed to the Royal Society, is worded as a personal request. |
