Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Archibald Geikie, President of the Royal Society |
Date | 24 October 1913 |
Description | Sir John Rose Bradford thinks that a meeting of the [Tyndall Mining Research] Committee should be held to discuss the various proposed researches. One the biological side, he says the investigation of the influence of dust is a promising one. Dr Haldane came in yesterday to see Harrison on the subject and although he is prepared with a specific recommendation, he is strongly of the opinion that before the Committee meets the Studentship should be advertised as it was on the last occasion. If Geikie approves Harrison will get out an advertisement in the same papers. |
