Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles Chree, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 19 May 1914 |
Description | Is sending out the Agenda paper for the Gassiot Committee. Captain Lyons sent it to Harrison a short time ago and he understood it was settled with Chree and Dr Shaw. Sending a copy now. Harrison was not aware of Greenwich having been taken as the base station for the Magnetic Survey. Understood that Walker was starting with his base at Cambridge. However this is out of Harrison's sphere of activities. Hopes he will not provide a specimen thunderstorm at Kew next week. He will come early and have a look at the old place with its new inside. |
