Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Arthur] Schuster, Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 9 June 1914 |
Description | Schuster will remember that he was asked to look rather closely at the proof of Council minutes for the last meeting. Harrison ought to send them tomorrow to be printed off, so unless he hears of any amendment he will assume that Schuster is content. Has had no suggestions from Schuster's colleagues for amendments. The minutes that need the most attention are those concerning: Miss Bremner, The National Physical Laboratory and the resolutions about the Council procedure report.
This was also referred to the officers as a committee to bring up a report with regard to the procedure of the Committee of Papers, and Schuster has the draft.
More than half of Harrison's holiday was spend under the influence of a very heavy influenza-like cold, which his wife brought down from town, and which has has not shaken off yet and consequently does not feel very bright.. Hopes he and Mrs Schuster have been well through the vicissitudes of weather. |
