Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Francis Darwin, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 27 October 1914 |
Description | Ought to have have sent him the enclosed long ago [no enclosures] but what with one Secretary withdrawing to go abroad to the seat of the war, and one thing and another, Harrison has been rather overwhelmed with work, and so the sending got overlooked. Asks if he can look over and sign it. He may be interested to know that the Physiology Committee also had before them Bose's paper, and were obdurate on the question of original records, and adopted Professor Starling's recommendations en bloc. They do not take the view of Darwin's committee that it is an imputation of their honour is an observer asks for his original records, they asked why he does not send them as a matter of course. |
