With reference to your purchase for us on November 18th last of Bank of England Stock, costing £2413.9.0, that sum (proceeds of Cavour Bonds) was at the time on deposit for the Gassiot Trust.
It was intended to use this fund for the purchase of the Stock, but as a matter of fact the charge fell upon the Trusts current balance, accounting for the depletion referred to in your note of December 30th.
Matters will be adjusted if you will be good enough to transfer the sum of £2413.9.0 from Trusts Deposit Account to Trusts Current Account for the time being.' |
