Mr Hardy has included them in the list of probable papers for reading on May 13; but if there is any likelihood of the Zoology Committee not recommending them for publication by the Society, it is a question for [?] whether it is worth while their being read.
As I have to send a list of probably papers to Nature and other journals tomorrow (Tuesday) I should be obliged by your sending me a telegram in the morning omitted from the list.
I cannot very well stir up the second referee as the papers were not sent to him until April 19.' |
