Date7 May 1917
DescriptionInforms Dr. Arthur Schuster of two matters. Firstly, that there is another letter from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research sending notice of applications for chemical researches. Proposes putting them on the agenda for the Applied Sciences Committee meeting on Friday. Secondly, that there is a letter from the same Department calling the Society's attention to a newspaper notice of investigations at Leeds into photographic sensitising dyes and asking for their comments on this in view of the work which is being done by the Pope and others under the Society's Chemical War Committee. Notes that the Society's Chemical War Committee are fully aware of what is going on at Leeds.
