TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Joseph John Thomson, President of the Royal Society
Date11 June 1917
DescriptionUpdates Joseph John Thomson on the recent visit from the Secretary of the Scientific Education Committee. Informs Sir Thomson that the Secretary showed interest in the accommodation which he was shown, and it was left that he would formally apply for the rooms at a later date if they turned out to be necessary. Notes the chief practical difficulty is the maatter of the burden these extra bodies will place on the Society's servants, and suggests that the Scientific Education Committee members may just have to provide their own attendants.
