Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Joseph John Thomson, President of the Royal Society |
Date | 19 October 1917 |
Description | Informs Sir Joseph John Thomson that, in drafting the minutes of yesterday's Council meeting, he has not minuted either the Treasurer's letter or the matter of Mrs. [Hertha] Aryton's paper. With regard to the former, suggests that this seemed appropriate, considering the discussion of new members that took place was only a preliminary discussion. With regard to the latter, notes that as the Aryton matter arose out of correspondence with Sir Thomson, it should not be included. Asks Sir Thomson to state whether or not he agrees. |
