DescriptionSubmits a Preliminary Report on the Proceedings of an Inter-Allied Conference on International Scientific Organisation recently held at the Society [not enclosed]. With regards to Resolution Eight, recalls that the organisations in the past to have received subventions from His Majesty's Treasury are: 1) The Geodetic Association, 2) The Seismological Association, 3) The International Council for the Exploration of the Sea, 4) The Bureau International des Poids et Mesures 5) The International Permanent Agricultural Institute. Goes on to offer advice on what H. M. Treasury should do if proposals are made by any of these associations after the conclusion of peace. Also notes that, as per Resolution Four, the Conference intends to establish international scientific organisations on a more systematic basis, and asks that H. M. Treasury refer any proposals supporting international scientific undertaking to the Society.
