The President [Sir Joseph John Thomson, PRS] agreed to the Empress Rooms, Palace Hotel, Kensington. Mr Hardy suggests a meeting of the Soirée Committee on 6 or 7 October at 2.30 PM, and asks which day would be convenient. Sends a copy of a list used for the last dinner, and a small list of special guests, 'our year-by-year list' [not enclosed].
