DescriptionRegarding the paper, 'An experimental determination of the distribution of the partial correlation coefficient in samples of 30' by Captain Bispham. As Chairman, Sir James Hopwood Jeans, FRS, referred the paper to Whitehead, who recommended publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society,' but advises he does not have enough expertise in statistics. Sir Jeans has looked at the paper but also does not have the statistical knowledge. Requests Sir Frank [Watson] Dyson, FRS, recommend a second referee, or that the paper be retained for the Mathematics Committee.
