Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Turner Thiselton-Dyer |
Date | 22 June 1892 |
Description | Rix is sorry to learn that Mrs Dyer is making a rather slow recovery. The Treasurer, John Evans, mentioned the suggestion about the salts et cetera, and Rix has put these down on the list of requisites which he annually refers to when making preparations for the Soirée. They will have them put in an accessible place on the ground floor and perhaps another set on the library floor, but he trusts they shall not have another occasion to use them.
Rix thinks the Committee will have to be strict about limiting the lantern exhibits to three so that there may be a proper interval for ventilation between the lectures. |
