Explains that Dr. Chree has heard of Dr. Simpson's belief that he should cease acting as Secretary of the Gassiot Committee. Asks whether this is in fact Dr. Simpson's belief, and if he plans on raising it at any future meetings. If not, notes that he will try 'soothing [Chree] down'.
