DescriptionSends information about three new papers. Informs Lord Rayleigh [Robert John Strutt] of L. F. Bates and [John S.] Rogers' paper 'Particles of Long Range Emitted by the Active Deposits of Radium, Thorium and Actinium', communicated by Sir Ernest Rutherford, who considers the paper ready for publication. Rutherford has also communicated and vouched for the publication of [Henry DeWolf "Harry"] Smyth's paper 'Further Studies in Ionization: Hydrogen and Oxygen'. Asks Rayleigh to suggest a referee for the third paper, 'Summary of the results obtained from experiments made during the years 1918 to 1923 of the effects of temperature on the properties of metals' by [Henry Reginald Arnulph] Mallock.
