DescriptionReports on 3 matters; 1: That [Ernest] Rutherford has communicated a paper 'A method of producing strong magnetic fields' by P. L. Kapitza and states in a covering letter that it is an important paper, James Hopwood Jeans asks for permission to have it published in proceedings. 2: Forwards a copy of a letter sent to Robert John Strutt, which the sender has yet to have a response. States Strutt's reply may have become lost in the post. 3: That Jeans will be on holiday until 14 May and has instructed [Francis Alexander] Towle to report Physics papers to Strutt and to pass for publication any papers Strutt sees fit.
