Title | Copy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to [William Bate] Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 6 May 1924 |
Description | Forwards a letter by Mr. [Reginald] Cambell Thompson, and asks if William Bate Hardy can ask for a title for his lecture as quickly as possible. Asks if the lecture is to include illustrations, to use lantern slides as opposed to opaque illustrations, which did not show very well on the screen. Francis Alexander Towle says the topic of the lecture seems dull to his lay mind and would like to hear more about Thompson's travels and how he got a hold of the tablets. |
