Mallik, and that Chapman may need to look at it if Larmor does not withdraw it. 3: A similar case with Lamb reporting adversely to the paper 'The vibrations of a stretched membrane of non-uniform surface density' by E.L. Ince. 4: States that a new paper has been sent to [Horace] Lamb [Chairman of the Mathematics Committee], 'Elastic waves at the surface of separation of the two solids', by R. Stoneley, communicated by H.F. Baker. Asks if it should be published straight away following a favourable report. |
