States that a previous pape by Jones was published without sending it to a referee. 3: Lindemann has now forwarded the paper 'Note on Vegard's theory of the Aurora' by [Robert d'Escourt] Atkinson. This has been sent to [Robert John Strutt] Lord Rayleigh as arranged.
