DescriptionApologises for oversight for giving no reply to the letter sent June 1923, addressed to 'the Royal Society of Arts, John Street, W.C'. Gives an update on the process of the Glassworkers Cataract Committee. That in August 1923, the Committee found Mrs. Harris progress disappointing and the report not worth publishing. The project was given over to Prof. Gowland Hopkins who appointed his student, Miss D.R. Adams to study the problem. Hardy states his satisfaction at her progress and exhaustive and critical study. Summarises on what has been discovered by Miss Adams and states that she will be unable to continue beyond September.
