TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Electrical Storage Company
Date15 October 1886
DescriptionRix spoke to Mr Gilkins about the desirability of the Royal Society having lights in the lower gallery on the dark side of the library and Rix understood that the bearings would admit of six more lights. Rix is directed by Lord Rayleigh to ask for a light in each of the five bays of that gallery. They also require a third attachment in the reading-room. Rix asks the workmen to see him before commencing work.
