TitleCopy letter from Sir John Evans, to Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company
Date18 January 1895
DescriptionAdverting to Evans' letter of the 15th December, requesting Evans to cancel the purchase of £70 consols on account of the Rumford Medal Fund, and the Messrs' letter stating that the request came too late, Evans now requests the Messrs to transfer this purchase to the Brady Library Fund, and that they purchase £210 consols in addition for the same fund, making £280 in all.

Evans is assuming the £70 consols mentioned above were actually purchased though the Society does not seem to have received the transfer for the same. The cost of the £280 consols is to be debited to the Brady Bequest Deposit Account and the dividends credited to the Society's General Account.
