TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date3 June 1896
DescriptionIn reply to Lankester's note of yesterday, certainly some letter paper was intended to be sent to Lankester with the envelope, and if not in the packet, this was an oversight.

Encloses a list of the members of Lankester's [Zoological] Committee [not attached] and a formal letter announcing the appointment and constitution and dealing with some other matters relating to the Committee, now in the hands of the Secretaries for signature.

9th June is impracticable for a meeting of the Committee as it is the day before the Soiree and a meeting of another Sectional Committee has already been deferred from this day on this account.

Lankester's question as to the Committee taking initiative in suggestions as to medals and other matters, Harrison will lay before the Officers at the first opportunity.
